Case Notes:

Terrence John Milfull. Whilst serving in Vietnam, Milfull held the rank of Craftsman which is what Private soldiers are called in the Corps of Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME).

Milfull must have been much thought of, because according to Milfull he was singled out by The South Vietnam Prime Minister, Air Vice Marshall Nguyen Cao Ky who personally awarded the medal The Republic of South Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm leaf, to him during a unit parade at Bien Hoa, South Vietnam.

Maybe Milfull got the medal in relation to one of the “ripping” yarns he tells, like when he was a passenger in a USA fighter jet that was hit by a missile and he had to take over the controls and fly it back to the base at Bien Hoa, or it could have been for the time he was taken for a “spin” in a USA U2 Spy Plane from the Bien Hoa base and glided at 92,000 feet.

In the photograph Milfull is wearing:

The Australian Active Service Medal 1945-75 Clasp Vietnam

Vietnam Medal

Australian Defence Medal

The Republic of South Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm leaf (2nd from the right)

Vietnam Campaign Medal

He is not entitled to wear the Cross of Gallantry and his story of how it was presented to him is childish, along with his silly stories about his rides in US Military Jet planes. Milfull’s behaviour is unbecoming a senior executive of two Ex Service Organisations.

Milfull is:

President Logan & District TPI Social Centre

Senior Vice President Logan and District RSL Sub Branch Inc.

His service in Vietnam was with the Australian Logistic Support Company (ALSC), at Bien Hoa, South Vietnam . His unit was attached to the 1 Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) Group, which came under the operational control of the United States, 173d Airborne Brigade. When the 1 Australian Task Force established at Nui Dat and 1 RAR returned to Australia Milfull was transferred to 101 Field Workshops RAEME and relocated to Nui Dat.

On the occasion when the above photograph was taken Milful was attending a 173rd Air Borne dinner at the Tweed Heads, New South Wales Bowls Club. At this function he told his “stories” and was called a liar by numerous veterans who served with him. Milfull chose to leave the building.

Milfull is a liar and a wannabe and therefore must not hold senior executive positions in Ex Service Organisations; he can however occupy a senior position as an exposed wannabe on our web site – Welcome to our webs site 18647 Terence John Milfull.
