First
introduced to classical music: I can't remember when I didn't listen to
classical music. It filled my life growing up as my mother sang in the
chorus of the Royal Opera House, my grandfather played tuba in the London
Philharmonic Orchestra and I sang in Westminster Abbey Choir. I also played
in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the National Youth
Brass Band.
