Handley Christopher

Christopher Handley

This is our first Cadet and our first wannabe of Royal Blood (according to him) but not the first Frontiersman to feel our wrath. Christopher Handley was a Cadet Under Officer with 31 Army Cadet Unit at Ringwood in Victoria.

Below is a photo of Christopher Handley, a fine example of the kind of man not wanted in the Australian Defence Force.

The photo shows Handley wearing the United Nations Year of the Volunteer Medal “awarded” to him by the Legion of Frontiersmen

If we are lucky, he may seek a permanent commission in the British Army rather than the Australian Army.  This arrogant young man claims that because he is a Royal personage he will be granted a commission in the British Army when he turns Twenty One years of age.  Even the Royal Princes’ William and Harry had to go to Sandhurst and earn their spurs before becoming Officers in the British Army, but perhaps this bloke’s Frontiersmen connections may secure his commission in the same way a young gentleman would in the United Kingdom up to the year 1858.

Until ANZMI started bowling out Frontiersmen they were becoming an embarrassment and a nuisance in the Australian Veteran community. Here are some of the wickets that fell.

There are different kinds of Frontiersman. Those from the Independent Overseas Command. Those from the Australian Division and maybe another named Legion of Frontiersmen of the Commonwealth (Lady Mountbatten’s own)  We believe Handley is a member of the Australian Division.  Some years ago the Australian Division dropped its military pretensions and were doing a lot of good work around the community. Perhaps they are backsliding?  Below is a photograph of the motley mob from the Independent Overseas Command playing “Dress up” soldiers.

As well as giving themselves all kinds of medals and decorations they also “discover” that they are descendants of Barons and Earls and all kinds of Aristocrats in the same way that Handley has, funny how none of them ever discover that they were just Churls as they still are now.

ANZAC House the State Head Office of the Victorian RSL doesn’t seem to mind Handley fouling their ground. He is an official member of their ANZAC Day March Committee and was strutting his stuff last ANZAC Day in the Streets of Melbourne wearing an official RSL armband, a CIA type communications device, a swag of medals on his right breast from an unknown source and lo and behold on his left breast his very own Frontiersmen, Year of the Volunteer medal. The photo says it all:

The RSL is the Keeper of Medals integrity and here is an example of how seriously they take their responsibilities in Victoria.

We are reliably advised that Handley was ordered on more than one occasion to remove the medal from his Cadet Uniform, however he simply disobeyed that order and guess what happened to him – absolutely nothing.

Old Veterans become melancholy when they see Army Units (even Cadet Units) and the State Head Office of the RSL allowing their people to “do as they please”

We believe that Handley is a Churl rather than of Royal Blood and in any case Royal Blood doesn’t count in Australia or at ANZMI, if you wear medals that you are not entitled to wear you are a fraud and a wannabe.

It is self evident that if Handley is allowed to continue to break Government and RSL protocol by wearing a Frontiersmen medal on his left breast on ANZAC Day it will not be long before he looks like one of the pretentious clowns in the group photo above and will bring the RSL and the Veteran Community into disrepute.
